WBJEE 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Academic Qualification:
- Candidates must have passed or appeared in the 10+2 or equivalent examination in 2024 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as compulsory subjects.
- Minimum aggregate marks required:
- 45% for general category candidates
- 40% for reserved category candidates
- Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination in 2024 can also apply provisionally, but they will have to fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria later to be considered for seat allotment.
Other Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates must be Indian citizens or OCI cardholders.
- Candidates must be at least 17 years old as on December 31, 2024. There is no upper age limit.
- Candidates who have already passed BE/B.Tech/B.Arch or any other equivalent degree are not eligible to apply for WBJEE.
